13th ABEL Cup - TUS Engelsberg wins
Engelsberg 21.07.2024/MO: On Saturday, 20.07.2024, the 13th edition of the traditional tournament took place in perfect football weather on the beautiful grounds of the Tüßling sports field. Players, visitors and organisers were superbly catered for by the hosts SG Tüßling-Teising. Exciting football and fast-paced small-sided duels were on offer, in which it was not always clear that the teams were playing in different classes. The tournament was fun for everyone, the mode in two match groups in direct comparison was a nice change and only produced winners due to the fair distribution of prize money.
TUS Engelsberg wins ABEL Cup
After failing to do so in recent years, TUS Engelsberg won the ABEL Cup 2024. The first match in Group A against SV Linde Tacherting, which TUS won 2:1, was to remain a good omen. Newcomers SV Linde Tacherting emerged from the tournament as runners-up and SG Kirchweidach-Halsbach secured 3rd place with a prize of €300.
